• All of my efforts are focused on the next solo exhibition "Field Work" at the Chicago Urban Art Society gallery in Pilsen. Opening on August 13th, it runs until September 25. Photographic and sculptural works will be on display in this 4000 sq. foot space. This is the one to see in person! link

  • Lot's of shows scheduled from April to September now, all in Chicago and nearby. The first is the Sakura (cherry blossom) exhibition opening at Pagoda Red on May 6th. This show presents my overlapped studies of the spring flowering photographed in Yoshino and Kyoto in Japan in April 2009. Sponsored by Shashi Caudill Photographs + Fine Art and Pagoda Red.

  • Darkroom experimentations continued indoors as "castings" prints are assaulted with three months of snowfall outside at Fail Road. The Salt Room (winter on the moon) installation was a special and spatial experience. Working with the salt and the 1020 space in the winter season just felt right. Here's a review and the prints are in the photograms section too.

  • I'm spending a lot of time in the rural darkroom and studio outside of Chicago. This site has become a kind of laboratory for site-specific experimentation. Watching the same nature change throughout the seasons is affecting my work in positive ways. Come for a studio visit!
